"Where's Eddie? He eats these goddamn things" .....Chevy Chase.

Nice fat suckers though, good shooting.

Buddy of mine once ate a Pine Squirrel....to see what it tasted like.

    He said......."Pine"

How do these tree rats taste....

Are you going to post a "How to" in the new Cooking Smoking BBQ section ????

I have been eating squirrels for 40 years! The best way I have found to prepare them, is to make dumplings!

May I please ask . . what kind of squirrel is that.
Reason - -> I am familiar with what we called a "red squirrel" in Maine. They were a lot smaller than that, plus they tasted like spruce and fir sap. Pretty much the same color though.
Then of course the normal ol' gray squirrel. I suspect that is what is in your pic but I have never seen them with a red belly. Down here the underside is white and the rest is gray except parts of the lower legs.
We also have a "fox squirrel" down here but they are big, lots of different color variations, and highly illegal (endangered).
Good huntin' and eatin' to you sir. --- SAWMAN
Why just dance when you can "rock and roll".
