Oh what's really fun is when you pay like $25 for a bag of brand new starline 44 mag brass and your first case bell actually curls the mouth all the way back in on itself.

Years ago I had never shot much in the way of lead bullets. My dad had, but for whatever reason stopped before I was born. So it was all jacketed for a long time. When you bell a case for lead bullets in my experience I feel you need to bell them a bit more than for jacketed. If not I get more bullet shaving. Maybe other guys don’t or they are a bit better than I. Just thought I would share.
Yup. Done a few 44mags like that. Also the double radius 223 from having the crimp die set to low..
