Right! I have loaded thousands of rifle bullets but the expanding of the pistol brass threw me off a bit.

For sure!! Getting the Belling down is a little tricky, but once you get the hang of it, things go pretty smooth

No, your terrible at it. The 3rd one from the left doesn't have that perfect "S" shape in the brass, and the first "S" is backwards.......try again newb

Oh what's really fun is when you pay like $25 for a bag of brand new starline 44 mag brass and your first case bell actually curls the mouth all the way back in on itself.

Years ago I had never shot much in the way of lead bullets. My dad had, but for whatever reason stopped before I was born. So it was all jacketed for a long time. When you bell a case for lead bullets in my experience I feel you need to bell them a bit more than for jacketed. If not I get more bullet shaving. Maybe other guys don’t or they are a bit better than I. Just thought I would share.

Yup. Done a few 44mags like that. Also the double radius 223 from having the crimp die set to low..
