    Frankford tumbler modification

I've tried a couple different things to help with the agitation especially with large amounts of pistol brass. The water bottle top worked ok, but the little blue funnel kicks ass! Keep in mind this is old media and probably too much 9mm brass...

I've done the same thing. It works great. If you want to use the lid a small piece of foam rubber on top of the funnel, then the lid with the washer and the wing nut keeps the funnel in place. It seems to work faster without the lid but I've heard people with cats consider the lid a necessity LOL.

I know the brass circulates more with this mod but does it actually reduce tumbling time?

More aggressive agitation = less tumbling time.
