    1911 grips

I bought a set of G10 grips off of eBay so I could take my originals off to keep from getting tore up. They fit and feel great.

That looks great Jeffery, nice looking handgun. I recently added a set of grips to my SR1911 and I love the look. They feel great and then after this picture I added an Ed Brown curved mainspring housing the gun feels and shoots great for me.

That curved main spring housing looks comfortable. Those blue grips look sharp on the stainless steel.

Some folks don't like them because they tend to cant the gun up a little. For me, it is more comfortable then the stock one.

I can see how that would happen. I don’t think I’ve ever shot a 1911 that had a curved mainspring housing so I don’t have an opinion on that, but it definitely looks like it would be comfortable.
