    350 Legend

Well I got a chance to get to the range with my loads for my Ruger 350 Legend. I also got a chance to use my Magnetospeed V3. What a game changer that is! I knew I was going to work around two loads based on the target but it’s interesting looking at the numbers.

I got more speed than what the Hornady book showed. More interesting I got more speed at the lower charge than the highest one. So I’ll work on them and see what I can do to tighten it up even more. Either one though will be good to hunt with this season for the kids.

That’s a good start! Shooting over a chronograph sure is a real eye opener.

Yes it is. I’ve had it for over a year and was finally able to get it out. I can’t believe I went so long without one!!

I still use an old “chrony” brand chronograph that I bought back in the 90’s. It still works great so I haven’t upgraded. Set up is a pain in the butt, and that is what’s got me looking into a magneto speed or labradar.

What bullets/powders are you testing in your 350?

These were with Lil Gun and Hornady FTX 165 gr. with Starline brass. I’ll finish this combo up and move to H110.
