    Entertainment

22-250 with a 1:14 twist combined with an 80gr ELD is freaking hilarious however your results my differ, was shooting 200 yards after about 100 yards the start to tumble then make a hard left (yes they hit the back stop)

I can't convince anyone the same thing happens with a 45 Colts from a carbine between 78-82 yd with that stupid 1-32" twist and SWCs . In my case it was a very consistent 30° departure at 10:00 . Crazy I was shooting golf balls out to 75 yd then I pulled over on steel Ram that was like 80# and 36×24" and my impact was 15 ft left and 8' up .

Making it even more frustrating the same bullet in a 45 ACP carbine made 3/10 standing off hand hits on a 12×18" plate at 150 with an 1100 fps MV ..... The only difference was the 1-16 twist and the Colts going about 1240 MV . The MV may have been at fault some too as the 1100 may not have been Supersonic at 5500 ft elevation and 80° . The 255 RN "cowboy" held to 1050MV doesn't do it , nor the SWC loaded in like .

Almost sounds like two different powder lots, per my understanding, each lot can burn differently. Try upping the charge see what happens also make sure there's nothing wrong with the crown. If they were shooting good then like crap something with your load change, 250/255 gr bullets should stabilize in any rifle or pistol

One lot of my cast , same can of powder .

The Strelok calculator put the subsonic break over at 75 yd the 1-32 twist just doesn't have enough gyroscopic stability to get them through the buffeting coming down . It is painfully consistent . My choices for 100 yd hits were to find another 150 fps or lose it . I went to a 350 with rifle powder in hopes of getting it just under ......that experiment resulted in the purchase of a 45-70 . A 350 at 1240 fps MV in an 16" 92' changes ones mind about ones expectations .

Did someone say 45-70? One of my favorites.
