    Everyone’s favorite load for buck shot, slug, bird, or trap?

    I like using Remington nitro hulls 1 1/4oz of lead #6 with a WAA12Fl114 wad over about 27gr or so of longshot for 12gauge pheasant loads. They’re not exactly shoulder friendly but yet they patterned well for me and are flying about 1300fps or so. Im also using fed209a primers in those

    I like the nitro hulls, lighting wad, 35 gr of blue dot, Lyman 525 gr slug... great for deer/hog up to 80-90 yards

    I haven’t tried loading slugs. Do you use a rifle barrel for those or smoothbore

    I use a smooth bore, a rifled barrel, and a rifled choke tube... it does not differ in the accuracy when shooting this slug to me...
