    300 blackout using H110

Hi Folks I just bought some Hornady 150gr fmjbt from Wes and after looking at my Hornaday manual can someone confirm that the data is up to date? I have the 10th edition book. Says coal of 2.090 does that sound correct? Reason I ask is I heard that there was a misprint or not updated information. It's a 8.5"AR pistol is this matters. Got ready to load brass from Wes btw. First time loading 300 blackout so go easy on me lol. Thanks folks.

Sounds like you are ready to load
Lots of people seat those to the cannelure and crimp into it.
Seems to be the best with those

I would measure the throat to find your COAL. I measured my friends 3 different blackouts the other day and they varied significantly. One was even shorter than hornady’s 10th edition length.

I'll do that. I do know that 2.100 definitely works because I have shot 115 grain Lehigh defense controlled chaos factory ammo at that length.

With different bullets, the COAL’s will be different, due to bullet shape. So you need to measure for each different bullet you will shoot.

My main load is with the 150 gr fmjbt I get from Wes. I load using H-110 with SRP. My OAL 2.228". I shoot this load from my 16" carbine & 10.5" SBR (both suppressed) and get phenomenal accuracy.

I load my Hornady 150gr FMJ bullets to about 2.09. I use H-110 also. The error data you're referring to can be found here: https://press.hornady.com/assets/pct...1522702177.pdf

    Page 382, 300 Whisper/AAC Blackout – 150-155gr C.O.L.’s should read: GMX-1.962”, InterBond-2.210”,SST-2.210”, FMJ-BT-2.090”, Interlock RN-1.900”, InterLock SP & BTSP-2.106”, A-MAX-2.110”
