    Old pictures

A few months ago, a guy randomly contacted me on Facebook messenger, asking if I was Paul DeGraff’s son. I indeed am, my father died in 1979, and this guy tells me his father and my father were hunting buddies back in the early 70’s and he had some pictures to share.

This is my favorite of the pictures he sent. This is 1970 in Maine. My dad is carrying his Remington 760 in 35 Remington.

I dug the old gal out of the closet and put a new scope on it. Took it to the range and had a little fun. Ive got some test loads loaded up to try next time I go to the range.

There were a ton of good pictures. There were ice fishing ones too. All my favorite memories of my dad were hunting, fishing, and riding on his Harley with him.

I’m so glad this guy stumbled upon the old negatives from the pictures his father took. They are absolutely a treasure to me.
