I am trying 3.3-3.5 grains of TG with these 135's. It is the first I am trying this bullet. They well may be super yet, but I want to start there and work down. The last trip to the range with the 147's (Xtreme plated RN) I shot 3.2, 3.3, and 3.4 grains of TG and they all stayed subsonic. That was out of a 7 3/4" barreled CZ Scorpion.

JTD, I spent a few hours at the range yesterday and wanted to follow up on this. All of the loads with the 135 gr Xtremes and Titegroup remained subsonic in my Scorpion. The 3.5 gr grouped just under an inch (through chrony, from bench) from 25 yds. It was also just barely subsonic. Very happy with this load, I may drop it down to 3.4 to assure subsonic, but this is a certain favorite.

    Today at the Bench.....

Last night I loaded up some 45-70 test loads for my enfield SMLE. R-P nickel brass, Nosler 300gr Ballistic Tips and IMR4198. The best I’ve gotten this bullet to shoot so far is 2.5” at 100yds. I’m bumping up the powder charge weight quite a bit to see if it will reign the groups in a bit. Ive got to be careful because nosler says that max impact velocities for this bullet is 1800fps, so I will be chronographing these as I go. I don’t want to turn this thing into a varmint rifle.

I’ve spent the last couple evenings pulling bullets.

I was getting severe leading in my 40s&w after 50-75 rounds. I tried different alloys and different powder coats with the no improvement. I pulled one and measured it, turned out that my factory crimp die was post sizing them to around .399”, so they were undersized for my barrel.

I’ve switched over to a taper crimp die and will load some up tonight to try out. The pulled bullets (all 550 of them) will go back in to the pot to be recast.

At least I have something to do when the weather cools down, but it’s sure going to stink when the powder coat burns off.

Went out with a friend yesterday afternoon and did some more dynamic shooting, multiple targets, shooting from stationary vehicles, etc.

We stuck with 22s because he doesn’t reload and 9mm is getting scarce (I don’t load 9mm yet). After cleaning up my gear I loaded up some 223 to start filling the 50cal can I have for it. I’ll probably go through the last of my prepped cases tonight and switch over to 40s&w.

You’ve been busy. I’m all eaten up with youth football right now so my shooting/reloading time has been greatly reduced.

I'm transitioning back to night shift, so I'm staying up a lot later than normal and everyone else is asleep. So it's either reloading or video games.
