Titegroup for 223 55 gr Xtreme?

I use Titegroup for all of my pistol loads (good, reliable source and very good performance). I would like to try it with my 223 plinking loads. Anyone try this? The loads I have found so far is starting at 2.5 grs. with a max of 3.1. Thoughts?

    Thanks!

There is published data for that combination, but wouldn’t be worth it in an AR, wouldn’t cycle the action. It may be ok out of a bolt or single shot, Ive read of bullets tumbling and keyholing with that combo. Only way to know is to try, just don’t deviate from the published data.

Thanks for the information! I am finding out that I almost like developing loads as much as shooting! Where are you seeing load data for this combination? I was only able to find anything close on the Hodgdon website. I have the Hornady 10 Edition and Lyman 49th and neither has anything.

    Thanks

I know Hodgdon has it, and I can’t remember where else I have seen it, but I have seen it at least one other place. I will look around and see what I can dig up.

I have this picture on my phone. I can’t remember what book I took it out of.

I love developing loads too. I’m always pouring over load data and figuring out what I want to try next. And then trying to make it work for me. What part of OK are you from?

I am in the Norman area. The local gun club is about 10 minutes from my house. The pic you sent above is the same data on the Hodgdon website if I remember correctly.

    Thanks again.

I wonder if the pic is out of the lee book, since they just pull load data from other sources.
