    308 Brass Small vs Large Primer Pocket

    Title says it all I'm gonna start reloading for 308 soon, and I was wanting some feedback on those who use small & large primer pocket 308 brass like any huge results what primers did you use ect.. Also the loads will just be used for hunting up to 400 yards at most, nothing to crazy. Thanks everybody

    I didn't even know they made small primer 308? I just get 308 LCLR brass from Wes. All large primer.

    The small primer pocket brass was mostly used to convert to different calibers, such as 6mmBR. Some was used by competitive shooters. There is no advantage in small primer pockets in real world shooting. Stick with the large rifle primers.
