Not all brands of 223 will convert to 300BLK because of case wall thickness. LC usually always works

What brand of dies are you using. I had problems with lee dies when reforming brass.

It’s most likely certain headstamps that have too much neck thickness. GFL, wolf, GECO, certain FC, for instance.

There is different thickness on sidewalls of brass brands. Wes’s LC brass is the best I have used.

When it comes to dies I would step up to forster dies. Before AAC (the inventor of 300 blkout) got bought, they recommended Forster dies for 300 blackout. I have processed thousands of rounds of brass with the Forster dies with no problems to chamber. The lee dies I started with caused a ton of failed to chamber problems. Make sure you use enough lube when forming brass, but not too much.

I don’t know what dies Wes uses to make his 300 blk brass, you would have to ask him.
