Wes, do you think we could get a section just for reloading for Military Surplus rifles. I’m partial to my M1 garand, M1 carbine, and M1A. Plus all the surplus bolt actions. I think it’d be a good section. If not that’s fine too.

We may go that route if needed buddy. More forums gets cluttered, and we can have post in the rifle section called "Military Rifle Loading" or multiple posts for specific rifles and calibers. That would keep down on the main page forum sectionsOriginally Posted by RogerT

Title it for Military rifle reloading, and make it a specific caliber if you like, and we can have multiple caliber posts

I am reloading Lake City brass for my M1A. Using Hornaday reloading manual number ten. Manual list of recommend powder has Winchester 748 listed. I have a good supply of this powder. Going to use 42.9 gr of powder and a 155 gr BTHP Match. I’m trying to reduce recoil and am only shooting 300 yards. Can anyone recommend this plan?
What is the low and high end charges? Remember with Military LC brass, the case volume is reduced, so pressures build faster.
