    Barnes 110 tax-tx and H110

I’m loading up some Barnes 110 gr over some H110 today. They’ll be shot out of a 10.5” 300bo suppressed. I’ll be using it for deer this fall. Does anyone have a starting load for me? Is this something that needs to be pushed fast? Lyman has the max at 19.5 compressed.

Reduce by 10% and use that as your starting load.

Barnes uses H110 for their commercial loads. It doesn’t need to be a screaming load.

Thanks for the reply. I wasn’t sure if the reduced barrel length will hurt the expansion. I doubt I’ll get over 2300 with a 10.5

I shoot this bullet out of two of my 300BLK's. A single and bolt gun. Same load for both. 20.0grs of H110 will give me 2380fps from the 16" 1:7 twist bbls. I use a flea market electric tooth brush, held against the brass with powder to viberate it down to a barely compressed load. This bullet (30321) will expand adaquately down to 1300fps. I have killed hogs up to 265lbs with this bullet. --- SAWMAN

Why just dance when you can "rock and roll".

The suppressor also acts as barrel length

I’m not sure that’s how it works.

I use 20.0gr of H110 out of a 16” bolt gun with that bullet. I haven’t chrographed it, but is is extremely accurate. Killed multiple hogs and deer with that load.
