    Reloading 308

    Hey guys I am reloading for my AR 308 and having issues where the bolt won't close,I am loading on a Dillon 650 with Dillon dies,the sizing die is flush on the plate and after wards half of them with fit in the Lyman go/no go gauge and the others stick proud of the gauge ,these are once fired brass any help would be appreciated . TIA

    Have you tried threading the die slightly deeper into the press? The issue could be the shoulder needs to be bumped a few thousandths more. try about 1/8 to 1/4 turns at a time.

    Some folks are going to tell you to get a "small base" die. That will size the case further down closer to the case head. Try turning your existing die deeper into the press first.

    Thank you that has seemed to work so far they all are sitting down in the gauge and seem to plunk test in the barrel ,will update when I get a few loaded and shot
