9mm Once fired brass has a ring in the case wall, is it ok?

So I bought 1k of these 9mm once fired cases, and I’ve found probably about a dozen of them with this ring in them. I’m assuming they are ok, but what do you guys think? Choot em? Or toss em? I’m also kinda curious what caused them? Wouldn’t think they came from the manufacturer like that. Maybe they have been previously reloaded and it was caused by a die? Thanks guys.....

They are put there by the manufacturer to help prevent bullet set back.

Do they affect the case life any by becoming a weak spot in the case wall?

It is a cannelure and is used frequently on revolver rounds like 38 spl. It doesn’t effect case life in any way.
