    Replacing tumbler motor

Has anyone ever done this? I can imagine you could find a cheap motor for these somewhere. I have a Frankford Arsenal tumbler that finally died. I have a birthday coming up and I believe my wife is getting me a new tumbler with media separator so I’m hesitant to buy a new one, but I could tinker with this one if I get a starting point. So anyone do this before? Is it worth it?

If she is getting you one maybe ask for it as a early birthday present.

Realistically my birthday is close enough that it’d be here before I even get parts for fixing this one, but a second tumbler would t be the worst thing right??

Oh I agree. Nothing wrong with having a backup tumbler.

Definitely get a second one. I've got 2 and use them both.

I’ve always been reluctant to tumble lubed, sized brass in the same media that gets dirty range brass. It may be time for a second!

I have two! Wet tumble to clean nasty range brass and corncob to get the sizing lube off. Then back in corncob when they’re done for a final shine
