    222 magnum

    Any one have any experience with this round what is your go to powder bullet combination

    That is one I have never owned. But I would think all of the same bullets and powders that are good in 223 would be good in the 222 mag too.

    There were some Ruger Mini-14's produced in 222Rem and the military took a close look at using the 222Mag. chambering. --- SAWMAN

    I have seen the Minis in .222 Rem, but never the .222 Mag. They made them in .222 for sale in countries where they ban citizens from owning any “military” calibers. On a side note the .222 Rem Mag case was used in the creation of the .204 Ruger if my memory serves.

    Jeff is right in his above. Pretty much the same case capacity as the 223Rem. Same bore diameter. Most likely slow twist ( guessing 1:12).
