Lol welcome to the club. I hit one with a sabot from a muzzle loader. A friend shot the replacement with a pistol. Now I have a magnetospeed.

That's what I get for being in a hurry, sent them an email to see if I can get just the unit, don't need the other stuff that comes with the replacement, if not them I'll have some spare parts

I killed a chronograph with a 7STW. 175gr Nosler partition. Last bullet over the sensors before the tragedy, was 3051fps.

I have some great friends, was telling my friend and shooting partner about my little mishap, after he was done insulting me offered to sell my old chrono back to me for a box of bullets.

This is reason I have always wanted a chronograph with inexpensive remote sky screens. That way if you hit anything you only hit the screens. I wonder why they are not the most popular, if not the preferred type.

Not big and tall but big and round
Shot my first last week. Perfect shot, too. Smack dab in the middle of the screen. First shot after switching rifles..............Lesson learned
The rcbs has seperate skyscreens but the unit as a whole it a pain to set up (takes forever) and it has so much surface area the slightest wind blows it over. Plus for the cost of replacing both skyscreens it was just a cheap to just buy a Caldwell unit.

Just don't tell my wife how much any of this really costs.
