Please share your cast 458 SOCOM loads!

I’m presently undecided on this caliber but think I have narrowed it down to a 12” or 16” barrel, slide bolt receiver, and cast powder coated projectiles likely in the 405gr range.
I’d really like to hear about your data with your barrel length and velocities.

Cast data from 300gr to 420gr, somewhere between 1500fps to 1100fps is what I’m expecting to fit my needs.
I’m not sure if the recoil with the 12” AR pistol platform will be too much to use as a cheek weld, hopefully some of your data will prove useful.

Obviously I can’t comment on any grouping for accuracy this go around but at least I got some numbers.
Powdercoated Lee 457-405-F (416gr actual), BHN11, COAL 2.120”, CCI350 primers.
16” barrel.
37.0gr of IMR3031 averaged 1472fps.
37.0gr of AA2230 averaged 1465fps. Slightly dirty.
40.0gr of BLC-2 averaged 1286fps. Very dirty
32.0gr of 1680 averaged 1460fps. Extreme velocity spread.
