    Risers on AR flat tops.

How many of you guys use a riser for rifle scopes on your AR’s? I was using a Burris PEPR on my grendel and had a hard time because every time I tried to look through the scope, I was either looking over my glasses or my glasses were cutting the sight image in half. I put a 3/4” riser on the rifle, and the Burris PEPR on top of that. It is perfect for me now, but I don’t like the way it looks. I am about to do the same thing with my 223 wylde upper. Here’s a before and after.

I have the opposite problem. I can’t get a high enough cheekweld to get good sight picture without modifying the stock

Have you considered the A2 style carry handle with rail built on the top? Then you don’t need risers, just regular rings

My ar10 is an a2. It is perfect for me with just rings, basically a built in riser.
