You may try adjusting your seating depth to see if you can tighten that group up a bit.

ALLways glad to see a Roberts still in use. Mine got an antelope a few years back. Devastating quartering away heart shot at 155yds.
.300mag wouldn't have made it dead any quicker. Awesome caliber, and sounds like a fabulous rifle, not to mention a more-than-adequate reloader. :>)

Thank you! My dad also shoots a 257 Bob. His is a Winchester model 70. It's our families go to deer caliber.

It is one of my favorites. I’ve got one built on a nazi Mauser action, a Ruger #1, and an Ackley improved 257 Roberts on a FN Supreme Mauser action. By far my favorite quarter bore.

I have always wanted a .257 Bob, but you just don't see them much. And, I am always broke when I do find one Lol. Looks like you are set.

I have a rebarrelled 6.5 jap to 257 Roberts. The stock is sportized reagular rifle sights. Where we hunted shots were under 150 yard. Very nice low recoil deer gun
