    Whats the heaviest bullet i can use or is available in 25 cal

    Normally 120gr is the top for 25 caliber

    Like Wes sez. Then the 117. But please don't simply think heaviest is best for either long range target,or hunting.
    Nowadays,great bullets are made for the 25-06.

    Agree. I've had excellent success afield with the 115 gr Nosler Ballistic Tip and the 115 gr Berger VLD. Have used the Ballistic Tip more, but the Berger worked GREAT on three mule deer at 175, 230, and 400 yards.

    Most 25-06 rifles have a 1:10 twist, and a 120 gr bullet is about the max they can handle. It is however, a great cartridge with the existing bullets. Easy to load, easy to shoot, flat trajectory and lethal as all get out on game.
