    Hornady's dies specifically say "38 special/357 magnum/357 maximum".

I have the hornady dies and they worked perfect for 357 maximum. I never tried my rcbs dies.

I have Lee dies. I had one person tell me they would work, but that was only person. I saw that the Hornady dies are for all three.

Here is the email response I got back from Lee.

"Yes, you would just need to back out the Bullet Seating and Powder Thru Expanding dies accordingly."

I have used my Lee 357 dies to load 357 max and they worked just fine. Just follow their instructions and back out a couple dies. I now came across a set of Redding 357 max dies and now use them.
