    Let’s talk ARs..

So I am currently in between two builds right now. Both have 16” barrels (or will when I get around to buying them). This is what I’m looking at getting:

    (Lower)
Battle Arms Development enhanced bolt catch, pivot/takedown pins, and magazine release for both guns. (They look nice and are “light weight”)

    Vltor buffer tube

    JP enhanced spring

    Seekins Ambi safety

Fortis MFG LE Lightweight Enhanced AR15 Endplate and K1 Tapered Castle Nut

    Still deciding on triggers

    (Upper)
One is Aero one is BCM blem [emoji736]

MDWS 16” 358 yeti barrel and bolt [emoji736]

    Faxon 16” barrel .223 wylde

Toolcraft BCG [emoji736]. possibly BCM for the other

Leapers UTG PRO 9” super slim free

    BCM 10” quad rail

VG6 Gamma for muzzle device on .223

Custom muzzle device from a guy I know who is a machinist. Hopefully

    Geissele charging handles

    Seeking enhanced upper parts [emoji736]

Superlative arms bleed off gas block [emoji736]

There’s still more to consider but I’d love to hear from any of you guys with experience with any of these parts or can list suggestions for missing items. Still in planning/research phase. Any help is appreciated as well as places to shop/discount codes. I use primary arms, joe bobs, delta team tactical, and rainier arms.

    Thanks!

The velocity seem reasonably priced [emoji848] the .223 is a build for my fiancé and she wants a two stage

and I can barely keep up now shooting “normal” I’d go broke with a binary [emoji28][emoji1787]

Has she had trigger time with a 2 stage?

Yup, I have one in my 18” SPR build. And a single stage in a 10.5” pistol. Little different shooting experience with both

Right, that's why I asked. I'm very happy with the Velocitys feel and quality. I'll be taking the rifle to the range Friday. I'll update here on my thoughts after trigger time.

I understand and appreciate your concern. I’ve seen a couple buddies just buy two stage and not like it because they didn’t realize what it was and what their needs were. I’d love to hear your thoughts when you get the time! I’ve got plenty of it when it comes to builds. 1 part/paycheck usually

Velocity triggers are excellent. Just put a 3lbs trigger in mine. Very similar to my Timney in my other AR.

For 2-stage, can’t beat the LaRue MBT triggers. $87 through Christmas! Worth twice the price and then some. I have two, probably get another.

I also have POF, Rise Armament, Hiperfire, TacCon 3MR and ALG triggers. All are nice, hard to go wrong anymore with them. Ask some competitors near you and see which ones have had failures and which haven’t, may be helpful information or may not...

For your BCG, I recommend a Toolcraft, who makes a lot of other ‘named’ products. Can’t beat them for the $$ and quality is top notch.
