    358 Yeti

I know there is a whole forum chock full of information on this round but I was wondering if anyone here had any experience with the round. I’m looking at doing another AR or possibly putting it on a Savage action. Any advice is appreciated

Out of all the rounds developed by that group the Yeti is the only one I would probably consider. The rest are ehhh IMO.

I have a 14.5in SBR 358 yeti. It is a good round and fun gun to shoot. I have 200gr SP loaded up for hunting. I target shoot with 158gr armscor fmj

Was it pretty easy process overall? I want to do a 14.5 but pinned and welded or a 16” so I can add a suppressor. Just seems like a lot of old info on their forum and I was just looking for something more up to date

The journey begins!! Some brass prep while I save up some $$ for the barrel and die kit. First time trimming brass like this. Jig needed modification but it’s a work in progress

Barrel, bolt and dies order placed thanks to a sale MDWS was having. $50 off but it’s better than nothing! I’ll keep updating this thread as my journey continues. First time wildcatter so it’ll be a slow process. Just wanna play it safe
