Woo! Great day at the range today!
I loaded up around 130 rounds of 158gr Armscor FMJ bullets with 36.5 gr of SW Blk to fire form some new brass and some brass I bumped the shoulders too far back on. I had to take the ejector out so that the brass I sized too small could fire so it was a slow ingle shot process but it was well worth it. Spent all of 70 minutes shooting non stop so the gun was screaming hot and I still left the range with around 50 left. Can’t wait to finish those off and get to sizing the brass where it needs to be so I can actually test some bullets and powder [emoji16]

Decided to give my Yeti a face lift with a nice paint job. I’ll need to get a better picture but honestly this looks amazing in person

Thanks! Got some range time today to fire form some brass and ZERO FTFs. Tested all 3 mags I have for it and only one didn’t like having more than 2 rounds at a time. May need to do some more work on it

What weight bullets were you shooting? I’m thinking the new paint job is helping it run better.

Lol I like the way you think! I was shooting 38 cal 158gr Armscor FMJ bullets! They are great plinkers and are fairly cheap! I wish there were more fmj options for 38/35 cal closer to 180/200gr

Yeah, not many options for heavier plinking bullets. What kind of velocities do you think you could get with .358 180 or 200gr sp bullets?

If I remember correctly I think the 180s are supposed to be 2600+ and the 200s are supposed to get up to 2400. I’d have to go back and look but now that I have usable brass I will be redoing tests with. Plenty of bullets and a local range I really like so far!
