    Great hogs there guys.
    IMO the X39 is waaaay UNDER rated as a hog/deer killer. It is essentially a semi auto 30-30. Great bullets and powders have come along for this chambering in the last 10 years or so now.
    Got a buddy with a bolt gun (X39) and it is MOA out to 350yds.

    my dad with his wife and her first buck. Shot at 50 yards with her deceased fathers marlin 336 30/30 with my reloads. 160gr FTX over 34.2gr leverevelution. Ran about 30 yards and dropped.

    My daughter started hunting with me last year. Last year she got two archery deer this year she got one during the youth firearm season and one during archery season.
