I bet so.

No. I'd say that's pretty heavy. A Thompson, A River or a rifle could probably handle it but most other brand pistols most likely won't.

You're right. Mine are rugers so it'll handle a little more. I load out of the old Thompson contender section of my manual.

My blackhawk and marlin rifle love it and its cleaner burning than the unique I use to use. I've been using 231 for over 15 years now

9.5gr of 231 with a 230gr fmj. For hunting I like a 300gr soft tip with 23gr of H110. Its a beast with that load but it'll set a deer or hog on its ass quick. Especially out of my rifle.

As long as you're pretty good at wood working you should have no problem with a kit. They come with the outline rough cut. Everything is still squared off. Its a lot to do. A dremel tool will be your...
That's really cool.

Spray them with brake cleaner. It will cut any oils left on them.

Same here.

I believe that's the one I use to use. Its been a while since I loaded for the 45 70. You can call him. He's very happy to answer any question you have.

Just a little advice on reloading for that particular rifle. Keep your CUP as low as possible. I had a marlin 1895. It recoils back like a high powered rifle and up like a shotgun. If you scope it...
Try palmetto state armory. I've heard alot of good things about their products.

Been there my friend. I feel for you. I had a torn laybrum and had surgery last December. Now I just don't have the time or place to reload. All my equipment is still at our other house.

Check with a maintenance guy at a hospital. The doors are all 3' wide and you can cut out the knob hole.

Personally I'd mount cabinets under and above a free standing bench. My bench top is mounted to a 2x4 that's screwed to the studs in the wall with 2x4 legs. The top is made of 2 solid core doors

That's exactly how i have my rifles set up. It works quite well. Even my 22 magnum is set for 250 yards. If I'm having to shoot closer i just hold a little low. It hasn't failed me yet.

Id use the same load for each animal. Find a bullet weight you want and then look at the powders. Find a velocity you want to be close to with the least amount of pressure. Then start your load...

For us casters that's turning water into wine. Lol

I've noticed the same thing with the lighter and heavier calibers. You correctly stated to get one sighted correct you have to take all human factors out. I'd like to do a 22 and a 30.06 in a lead...
Where the differences in the sighing lie are the differences in the people's shooting style. Each person holds a weapon differently and has different eyesight. It may well be really close sighted in...
I only go an 1/8 more. Once it's touching it's not going any farther. No sense in putting more stress on your press than you have to.

I've always set the sizing die the same way for any brand.
