Good decision! I started reloading on a turret thinking I would never need a progressive. Last fall I bought a Dillon 550 and wish I had done that from the beginning.

I'm reloading on a Dillon 550 that I bought last fall. Great machine - might be the best money I ever spent. I have it mounted on a riser from Inline Fabrication. I have the bullets and cases in...
Last year, I bought a Dan Wesson for my first 1911. No regrets. My second choice was the Springfield TRP. I'll probably get a TRP one day.
I bought my first 1911 last year and it came down to a Dan Wesson PM9 or a Springfield TRP. I decided to go 9mm and bought the DW. But I don't think you can go wrong with a Springfield.
Thanks.
I've had a 550C now for a few months on which I load 9mm and .45acp, mostly 9mm. Sometimes when loading the large primer pick up tube, I will have a primer that turns sideways in the green plastic...
I checked the die again and noticed that the decapping pin was not tight on the little shaft that goes through the die. I tightened it and it was better - probably 1 out of 10 were a problem. Then...
Up until last fall I was using a case activated Hornady LNL on a Redding T7 turret press. I thought the Hornady was pretty good. I learned to keep an eye on the case activated linkage because it...
That makes sense. I will try dulling the pin. What is puzzling is that I used to reload with the RCBS die on a Redding T7. Never had this problem then.
Before wet tumbling, I deprime 9mm and .45ACP cases on a Lee Breech Lock single stage press. Quite often it takes more than one ram stroke to completely remove the primer. I'm assuming the primer...
Wow, awesome video! I'm a fairly new reloader who recently made the move from a turret press to a 550. I thought I was doing something. . .
?????
Thanks. I expect I'll need some help.
Thanks. I think I will too.
I see there are several guy here that also are on the GCGF.
I live in the north end of the county - redneck capital of the state. ;)
I think you're in the eastern shore area?
Disregard - I didn't see LeeLee86's reply above. Sorry.
I don't think it has been available long, but this might be another option:

Great intro! You might be my new hero. Welcome.
I really appreciate the kinds words. And you never know who all your relatives are. . .:17:
I reload in 4 steps on my T7. When sizing/priming (first step), the turret handle is at 7 o'clock (close to me). At the last step (seat/crimp), the handle is at 12 o'clock. It would
be better with...
I can't figure out how to send a message. I joined the forum about an hour ago so I may not have that privilege.

I have been reloading on a T7 for about 2 years (my first press). I load 9mm and .45ACP. I thought about trying to have dies for two calibers on one turret, but decided to buy another turret. The...
I've only been reloading a couple of years so I'm still a newbie. I've been using a turret press but I'm looking to move to progressive. I load 9mm and .45ACP for target shooting and expect I will...
