If you shoot enough volume to justify it, then I say go for it. Or take a look at the Mark 7 Evolution. If I didn't already have a 1050 when they came out, I likely would have gone that route.

SAWMAN, you hit the nail on the head. The last 3 years I've averaged just under 10K rounds per year and this year I plan on hitting 15K. Yesterday, for example, I was able to sneak away to the...
Exactly. And yes, there is quite a bit of adjustability with it.

Pulling the handle is not what it's all about to me.
I finally remembered to film while loading some ammo. 1500 rounds per hour seems to be a good pace for it.

What caliber are you looking for?
Bullseye isn't bad, but I found that N320 was the least smoky powder for me, using coated bullets. TG and Clays were both WAY too smoky.
Don't over crimp. You'll probably see higher velocity than jacketed at the same bullet weight. Other than that, they're great bullets and cheap to boot.
Welcome!
Yep, I'm in Spanish Fort. I've had some experience with some Dillon presses, so let me know if I can help.

If you and Sawman are cousins, be careful who you admit that to.
Welcome! If your screen name is a representation of where you live, then I'm close by. I'll be happy to help you out in any way I can.
I added some shelves to my reloading room, working on unpacking boxes and organizing them.

I also built the track and trolley system for the lights and camera. ...
Huh. All of my dillon powder measures have been really consistent. I've never worried about smoothness.

Progressive is the only way to go if you're trying to load bulk and you don't have PLENTY of free time. I quickly made the switch from single stage to turret, then quickly again to progressive once...

I added some info to my post above. If you can, try to make it out to a match just to spectate and see what you think.
Level 1 is just a normal "local" (typically monthly) match. Level 2 is generally State level, level 3 is Area level, and level 4 is Nationals.
If I were you and you have the time, I'd at least...

I shot the 2018 Endless Summer Blast this past weekend and I was fortunate enough to win high Limited division. It was a really fun match, but I need more work behind this gun before I'll start to...
You'll need some overhang on the front of your bench if you want to mount it directly. The strong mount might also be a good idea depending on your bench height and whether you want to sit or stand...
A case feeder is a MUST and a Mr. Bullet Feeder is a close second if you load any kind of volume. There are also "enhancement" kits that can help with smooth operation and powder spill mitigation.
