I used to ship some ORMD stuff... I would go to the post office the day before... check with the postmaster... get all my ducks in a row...
next day I would take it to a window... the standard "you can't ship that"... she could hear my voice...then tell them "it's good to go"... I would giggle as I handed over package... :p
