I just finished breaking down a bunch of loaded and primed ammo that came from my Father's stash. One box left to do, not sure where or why he had this. He never had an unloader for these that I am aware of. The price and the establishment on the price tag kinda tells a little of it's age too.Attachment 1488

Maybe it had what he thought was a good price so he bought the ammo....intending to get the rifle later. I buy brass, bullets, dies, etc. a lot prior to buying a firearm. Can’t be the only one....can I? Lol

If you’re interested in them, let me know! I don’t have a use for them with a .338-06 and .30-06. Even I’d have a hard time justifying the redundancy!

I wonder if CH made dies for Herters. Ive got some herters dies in the original box that look just like that.

That wouldn’t surprise me at all. Seems like they appear similar in design/coating to the few older CH dies I’ve seen. They don’t look as my newer .338-06 from CH4D. But I’d bet the company has changed a bit.
