Weird small line after sizing. Any ideas?
Might be a crack starting (Case Head Separation)
Bend a paperclip, and stick it inside the case, and feel for a ridge on the inside.
If there is one, toss the brass.
A visible line, but just a line, not raised or anything can come from sizing brass
Inside looks fine. Its once fired I got from wes. Just never seen an actual line like it before. Could just be the die I suppose
If nothing inside, most likely where your die stopped.
Can you feel it with your fingernail ?? --- SAWMAN
Yeah you can feel it ever so slightly
I agree with sawman. Looks like where the die stopped. Can you adjust the die in some more?

Yep, these guys are spot on!
Die is all the way down on the shell holder at full stroke
What kind of press are you using? On my rcbs rockchucker, when I screw my fl seater die in to touch the shell holder, I have to let the ram down and screw the die in another 1/4-1/3 turn in order for the case to be completely full length sized. Some brands of presses (rcbs I know for sure) require a cam over when raising the ram to achieve a proper full length size, some brands of presses don’t.

This one is on my Lymann t-mag.
I’ve never sized rifle brass on my t-mag, and I haven’t used it in so long for anything that I cannot remember if it cams or not. I think it does, but not 100% certain.
JTD
Yes it cams
I guess you could try screwing you seating die down a little more and see if that helps.

I assume this is on only 1 piece of brass? If so and unsure chuck it. That’s what old timers recommend...getting closer everyday myself. Lol, anyway they are still alive for a reason. Prob a die line though.
Multiple pieces actually. I'm gonna call it a line from the die.
Ok, if it is multiple pieces I wouldn't worry about it. Die mark. :)
Multiple pieces pretty much confirms that it is a die mark. You should be fine.
