Hi folks I'm planning on reloading for a AR-10 18" barrel 1 :10 twist. What would you recommend for a powder and bullet weight? Gonna be used for target shooting and hunting.

We use 178gr ELDX bullets with federal large rifle primers and W760 powder for our AR 308 20” same recipe for target and hunting

Not necessarily 1/10 is standard so you should be good with lights to heavy

As stated above, the 10 twist bbl can be used with any bullet. Even the 110's.
I have several 308Wins. Two of which are DPMS with the 1:10 bbls. One of these guns loves the Barnes 130gr TSX. You should at least consider the lighter weight (<151gr) bullets. Consider their makeup. They will give you a better trajectory at the hunting ranges also.
My target bullet for both my AR/308's is the Sierra 155gr Palma. I load the Barnes 110gr TAC-TX black tips waaaaay down also. These bullets were designed for the 300BLK and at 2600fps they are deadly on deer with reduced recoil. --- SAWMAN
I use H4895. Go to the Hodgdon site and look for the reduced load section using H4895 ONLY.
Follow the directions exactly.
I love this powder for reduced loads. --- SAWMAN
