Anybody have any reloading data on this one? I'm thinking 33grains of IMR4166 may be a decent starting point???

I just got through looking at my books, and the only load data I could find was in wildcat cartridges volume 2. It is old data with mostly powders that aren’t made anymore. Lol. So I’ve got nothing for you, sorry buddy.

Remind me in a day or two. The fellow that had your dies and brass was meticulous about records. He didn’t have a rifle chambered for it now, but I will look for his data and a barrel. That fellow had it bad. As. Soon as he got his reamer, he chambered the barrel and found some rifle to put it on. He made his own stocks, but as soon as they were shootable, he couldn’t control himself, and shot them! And once they shot well, he didn’t mess with them.

I guess I should clarify, I'm loading 75gr Hornady ELD-M. My gunsmith has access to "quickload" so I think I've found safe starting points for several powders. I've loaded up some test loads with Hogden Superformance, I'll try them in the morning. Any data you can find though would be greatly appreciated. A fella can never have too much info.

I use H4350 in my 22-243, but I'm running a 55 gr Berger in mine, its an older build so it has a slower twist rate vs these newer built guns. I love mine on coyote though, that Berger at 3900 fps range never exits and always kills!
This one was 450 yards off and trotting away. I forget the powder (best reason in the world to keep notes on load development) but I've got the 75 grainers going 3450 fps. Texas heart shot stopped him/her in it's tracks. Not much left identifiable under the tail...[emoji6]https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...86d34e3b16.jpg

Good ol’ Texas heart shot!

I would love to have a fast twist edition of this cartridge too, would make a better long range gun than my current one...that being said, for a calling gun, with most shots at 200 and closer, this one is my fave and not sure I'd ever swap if I had the chance...I have killed them out to 325 yards with this gun, and that was an educated public land coyote that gave me a great background to shot against...if I go out with longer ranges in mind, I take my 6.5-06 😁
Since I have started playing with this cartridge, and info is scarce, I'll add what I have found..remember to start low & work up
data I recieved with this rifle:
42.8gr Superformance, 75gr Hornady @ 2.737.......did not group well for me
41.5gr IMR4451, 75gr Hornady @ 2.737.....very good groups, can't find the powder so....
various searches revealed a case length max of 2.045, min of 2.025 and trim to of 2.035
cartridges of the world had limited data, but suggested 45gr IMR4350 with 65gr Soft point achieved a velocity of 3710fps
So i did a ladder test with 65gr Sierra Gameking & IMR4350, COAL of 2.600, starting at 43.2 to 45 in .3 increments
43.8gr revealed 3 overlapping holes @ 100
44.1 I got slight pressure signs (light extractor, almost flat primer)
44.4 I blew out two primers (one may be a fluke right?)
forgot my magnetospeed, sorry no velocity numbers for you, but I'm guessing in the high 3500fps arena with 43.8
I have found this gun likes a substantial jump to the lands (measured at Ogive) of .071
interesting find:
65gr GK, 73 & 75gr Hornady all have the ogive at damn near the same location from the base
in the near future (and once I find the formula again), I'd like to test 5744 and 73gr Hornady
