He was right about 200 yards out. I just stopped off on my way to work to call once off this little bluff. He imidiately stood up and I shot him. I didn't realize that he was feasting on antelope till I got out there. I've come across kill sights before, but this one was really fresh and it's the first time I've killed something on a kill site like that.

I tell ya what, shooting coyotes with this 22-243, they just drop where they stand. Exit hole about the size of a golf ball.

I had a small issue with my seating depth. After I got my load worked up I must have somehow backed my seating die off a lil. Started seeing pressure signs and stiff bolt. Checked my coal and I was 16/1000ths long. That was enough to put it into the lands adn spike the pressure.

You’ve been doing well, all of those with the 22-243?

Longest shot on a called coyote to date, 325 yards with a 3-9x40 scope and no rangefinder before the shot...that 22-243 shooting a 55 gr Berger Varmint bullet at 3850 fps does help a bit 😁
Got this one this afternoon about 1:30 PM. Came charging in down the road I was sitting off of looking over a field of weeds. He was literally 15ft away from me when he flew by. Only had time to flip the safety and point and pop him. Didn't have time to shoulder the rifle or even try to aim. Flipped 3 times when the 60 grain Nosler Ballistic Tip Varmint hit him. Circled my tripod and gun to show how close he was.

I took a buddy out for his first yote hunt. This was my first stand of the year and we ended up calling in 5. It got fast and furious real quick. I tried to help but I had my back to him and couldn’t get spun around.
