For me it’s all the options. Bullet weights you can’t buy in factory ammo, finding the one your gun favors, tweaking the load, and putting them on paper. I used to also only go to the range once in a blue moon but never twice in the same month. Now I’m there every other week if I can help it. People always ask me why (because I’m really the only one I know who does) and I explain to them the same thing.
Stacking rounds on top of each other with something I was able to put together is indescribably awesome like we all know. I don’t get the same feeling shooting factory and haven’t in years.
