Well, that election SUCKED!!! Here comes trouble!!

What a shit show we are going to see. The democrats have an agenda that they are going to shove on everyone and in the end just hurts people. More taxes more corruption and more socialist ideals crammed into a box that is already full. The individual is losing. When a political party can't even figure out what bathroom to use it time for that party to be replaced unfortunately the average democrat can't think for themselves and believe the brainwashing rhetoric preached from the high places of mass media. I for one voted as I thought was right and as a group member suffered a staggering blow. I hope and pray that the American people wake up. Stick together brothers and sisters in this time of strife. Plant a row for your family and a row for your neighbor. Keep your powder dry and your kids safe.

I'm in Florida. Scott and DeSantis won but it was close. Scott is a POS . . . BUT . . . the alternative(Nelson) is a bigger piece of shit AND a Pelosi ass kisser to the extreme.
A Democrap controlled House will be terrible. They will not only investigate Trump,but cabinate members,his staff,and anybody and everybody around him. They were obstructionist before,now,they have a platform to carry out their agenda.

I don't mean to sound jaded, but as far as congress, I think the Republicans probably got what they deserved. I really hate to see the House flip, but for all of their bragging of what they accomplished, they could have gotten twice as much done if they hadn't been so hell-bent on trying to stop Trump at every turn. It makes me sick what could have been done if they had gotten their act together. Now, Trump is going to have a hard road to hoe, but the bright spot is, if we get another SCOTUS opening, we can still claim victory.

Absolutely correct in your observation.

Maybe this can play out in our favor. Maybe the house will make the Dems look like mad people with all of their wasted investigations and drive everyone to vote Red again in 2020.

Unfortunately, Democrats cannot see past their own noses. Anything that fails in *their* plan, will be blamed on a republican and they will never see fault with their own system. The only people who will see it are the Republicans. And as we have discovered in many states with this election, the Republican voice is overriden by the Democrats. Our only hope is that the electoral college is enough in the 2020 elections, to keep us where we need to be.

I sure hope you're wrong. Although, I don't think that the house swung all that heavily, yes they took control but not by that much. There was a large number of retiring Republicans this year and that makes it difficult to have an edge in an election, and Dems won this time. What I hope is that they chase their tails for 2 years, trying to open more Russia investigations, trying to get impeachment going, to the point where Repubs can easily point to them in 2 years and say they have accomplished almost nothing.
