I, too, don’t “break in” a barrel other than shooting it.

I clean mine right out of the box, to get most of the shipping oil, and what knot off of it. As for breakin cleaning, it just a waist of time, bullets, powder, primers. People should just got sight it in and shoot it.

Made it to my shooting spot to put some rounds through the new barrel. Not what I'd call a great outing considering I forgot my shooting mat and bags... sighting in at 25yds groupings were awesome. Most likely so. Then again the new barrel may like something totally different. Mine likes a 55gr bullet. I tried 50gr ones and it looked like I shot the target with a shotgun. Lol
