Unscrew the depriming rod so it is loose hanging there. The expander will be stuck inside the case most likely. Screw it into your press upside down so the primer is facing up in the air. Put on safety glasses, ear protection, and gloves. Take an awl and a hammer and set the primer off.
Remove the expander/decapper rod. Drill the primer slowly, do not put pressure on the drill. Once the primer is pierced squirt some light oil into the hole and wait a few minutes before drilling the rest of the way.
I have done this 2x with no issues. Wear safety glasses or face shield.
