Newer to hunting
Hey guys. Ive have hunted when i was younger then life and family problems got in the way for many years. I have recently started to work my way back into hunting here in Iowa. I started with small game and am working on getting into deer hunting. Went last season and didnt see anything. Hoping I can learn and get the hang of it to take my girls out and teach them before they are too old and no longer interested. Any tips advice or locals will to help out would be great!

Just be in the woods with your kids. Get some doe tags if you can which should make it easier to tag out.

One of the best tings is to scout the area you plan on hunting. using trail cam it will show their pattern . Remember wind and sent is factor. I am lucky that i hunt on private land where can grow food plots. also when you go to your stand use different route to get there if possible. Use a drag cloth with Tinks or some other attractant to cover your scent good luck have fun and enjoy your time with your girls.
