Storage Question
Looking for some advice from the larger reloading community. I currently live in an area where I don’t deal with humidity but will be moving this summer to a place that does.
Do you guys do anything special with your components or consumables as far as storage? In my garage today, powder stays closed but otherwise exposed and on the bench while primers stay in the boxes until ready to be used.
Thanks for everyone’s two cents in advance.

I live in NC and its generally humid here. The only thing I do is of my powder is in a cardboard container i switched it to a plastic one. But I don't think they make those anymore.

I live in Ohio where we get every kind of weather known to man. I store large quantities of powder and primers in original containers inside a non working freezer with several large bags of desiccant. Some of the powder and primers have been there for 20 years, all still like new.

With today's plastic containers you should not have any issues.

I’ve always stored my powder primers and ammo in the house for fear of temperatures and humidity levels affecting them. I know many people who don’t tho, and they have never had any problems.
