Also, I see that it's pretty easy to drop some serious cash outfitting a progressive, what are your most have and what could you have lived without? ie: bullet feeder/case feeder etc.
Also, I've got a rcbs uniflow, I can run that on a Hornady press correct?
Helped a buddy set up his ammo plant it was a pain in the ass compared to Dillon. But the press was good and once set worked perfect. He bought a bunch of shell plates right away the case feeder was his can’t live without

I am fairly new to progressives and have only messed with one. That being a Dillon 550c. It was pretty easy for me to setup imo. Did single stage for decades. I like this one because it is manual indexing. That way it is easy to set up dies and fix any issues. Anyway, good luck with whatever you decide.
I've had both, Dillon 650 and Hornady LnL ap. I'll take the Hornady any day, any caliber over the Dillon. It's cheaper to change calibers, I find it quicker to change calibers as well, definitely has more room for my clumsy hands, priming system works very well and doesn't keep dumping them when there is no case to accept it, don't have to take out little pins to pull a piece of brass off to check it. It just works. I've never seen the draw that Dillon folks do for the 650 over the Hornady LnL ap. Just my experiences. The powder measure is more consistent with more powders. Most of the differences are small and subjective but it feels better more consistent to me as well.
I no longer have the dillion, gave it back to my son in law. The warranties are too similar to be a factor. The Hornady is less expensive to start with and you don't have to spend $65 or more to swap calibers.
The LnL ap comes with a powder measure. I do have the case feeder and love it for high production caliber loading.
