Load with Low to Mid Range Jacketed data for a 158gr bullet. Nose design is not critical.
Start low and work up.

No problem. All loads should be worked up anyway, so nose design never mattered to me.
May be a tad fast for plated.

I run them to 1500 in a lever gun, with no issues, but that data is a lot hotter than what I found I started seeing pressure signs at on the high end
