Could be or it could be there's a ridge on the bullet seat stem.

The "cup" at the south end of the seater stem is hitting your bullet because the bullets are too pointy or you are using a seater stem designed for cast bullets.

Unscrew the seater stem and put it down over one of those loaded rds pictured.

Lightly round off the outside edge of the seater stem with some fine sandpaper. Emphases on lightly.

Some die sets come with a cast bullet seater stem. I have sets in 44mag,45LC,and 454Casull that come this way.
The seater plugs that I have smoothed the edge on,I have done with very fine sandpaper (aluminum oxide) ,wrapped around the end of a pencil eraser. --- SAWMAN
