I’m with Jeffery. If they are yours and you are 100% positive of the powders identity, use that stuff.
I had had to pull some 38s. I was almost sure the powder was Bullseye but I use a number of powders in 38 and ended up making the Mrs purple Mums look very nice.
If I loaded it and I know the powder, I will always re-use it. I've never had any problems.
If I loaded it but didn't write down which powder I used, I'll dump it and go with new. That's only happened once though.
Where do people get the idea to use smokeless powder for fertilizer? After I was once guided through the chemical breakdown of modern smokeless powder, it seems like it would fertilize about aswell as cigarette butts.
The nitrocellulose contains high levels of nitrogen which promotes plant growth.
