with no sonic cleaner whats the best way to clean out dies. Mine have been worked hard lately and i want to clean them out. they are carbide dies but i see some junk in them so want to clean and do i lube with anything after cleaning. I was leaning towards a foaming bore cleaner yay or nay. Thanks
I’ve used gun solvents and bore brushes brake clean then I coat them with spray silicone

Solvent and brushes as before mentioned and then I tumbled them in walnut and finished in corncob with polish to prevent surface rust. They felt glassy afterwards.

ok thanks i did the solvent and bore brush now ill spray with brake cleaner then after drying will use silicone spray.
