Getting good results out of 24gn of H335 with 55gn hornaday fmjbt’s out of my 20” AR however I’m wondering if I should change my seating depth, currently seating at 2.20, I’ve got the 5.56 chamber and I’m wondering if the jump to the lands is hurting me.

It could be. My pet load for my AR with a 5.56 Nato barrel that is 16" with a 1:9 twist is 24.6gns of H335 at a OAL of 2.250. I tried seating depths from 2.200 up to 2.260. 2.250 gave me the best results.Quote:
